 Sure Klean® 600 Detergent
Sure Klean® 600 Detergent is a general purpose, concentrated acidic cleaner for brick, tile and concrete surfaces. Dissolves mortar smears and construction dirt quickly, leaving the masonry clean and uniform with no acid burning or streaking.

Limitations

- Not suitable for cleaning polished or certain glazed surfaces. Always test to ensure suitability.
- Repeated applications may leave a detergent residue. To reduce potential for detergent residue; always prewet; rinse thoroughly; do not exceed two applications.
- Not effective for removing atmospheric dirt and black carbon stains. Use the appropriate Sure Klean® Restoration Cleaner to remove atmospheric staining from older masonry surfaces.

Sure Klean® Manufactured Stone Cleaner removes common construction and atmospheric staining from manufactured stone and other architectural concrete surfaces. This general-purpose, non-etching acidic cleaner removes mortar smears, rust, mud, atmospheric dirt and other stains without altering the surface texture. Manufactured Stone Cleaner adds depth to colors and brightens white matrices and exposed aggregate.

 Muriatic Acid
Muriatic Acid is a strong, corrosive, inorganic acid (HCl), manufactured by absorbing hydrogen chloride in water. It is one of the most corrosive of acids, and is particularly destructive to cellulose, breaking the cellulose chain into even smaller units, resulting ultimately in its complete hydrolysis. It is the same chemical as Hydrochloric Acid.
Uses include etching concrete, cleaning metal and for swimming pool maintenance. Will attack varnish, fabrics, metals, plastics, most paints and many other materials. Can be diluted with water.
Directions for working with Muriatic Acid:
- Wear protective clothing, rubber gloves and plastic safety glasses while using.
To etch or clean concrete and masonry or metal:
- Dilute to desired strength by adding acid carefully to water, avoid splashing.
- Start with a highly diluted mixture and strengthen gradually (1 part acid to 20 parts water).
- Apply solution. Bubbling indicates solution is strong enough.
- Flush thoroughly with clean water and immediately after cleaning or etching is complete.
